Andrew Heidesch, LMFT

Andrew Heidesch is a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in anxiety, depression and behavioral disorders in both children and adults. He attended Benedictine College and Kansas State University for his undergraduate and graduate degrees. His work history consists of providing mental health services to community service agencies, psychiatric hospitals, and private practices. In the Athens area he has facilitated groups consisting of teenage drug and alcohol addictions and he has worked with the Department of Juvenile Justice providing individual and group therapy for teenage sexual offenders.
Andrew currently owns and manages Oconee Center for Behavioral Health. He is an approved AAMFT supervisor and an active member of AAMFT. He continues working with couples, families and individuals struggling with mental health disorders and supervises therapists and graduate students in the Athens/ Atlanta area.
